Abstract

The fason industry is one of the most complex activities of today’s society, relating to the quality of processes, services, and products, as well as to collective labor. In developed countries, but also in some transitioning ones, exports are important as a generator of employment. Improving service quality and implementing quality management in the fason industry is undoubtedly a challenge—one that we are all interested in and committed to succeeding. Quality management is closely tied to the training and qualification of human resources in this sector. In recent years, although the garment sector has been a priority for every government, it has grown almost spontaneously. Increased textile production implies the involvement of qualified personnel and state support, so that this industry can remain competitive with EU countries and third countries. The tangible benefits of a successful strategy in the fason industry include increased employment, added income for economies, infrastructure development, improved work environments, and higher tax revenues to invest in quality, education, and other societal improvements.
