Abstract
The Albanian literature between the two world wars stays a very provocative period for it’s researchers. It’s characterized with a literary polyphony that makes it really special. The Albanian authors of this period, feeling the delayed character of the Albanian literature of the time, they will feel the need to go beyond the boundaries of the traditional literature and to communicate with schools and new literary voices. Therefore, the study of Albanian literature of this period, by itself, imposes the need of the study of its rapport with developed European literature, with whom the literature of this period shows a more intensified rapport. The authors of Albanian literature of this period feel the need to separate from ideological influence, a characteristic for their ancestors and to be put in service to the artistic level. They bring fracture, for which the literature of the time needed. The big authors of the Albanian literature of the time between the two world wars will get in an open literary dialogue with chosen European literature or with writings of chosen authors, which serve as soul teachings. But, however the densely and the most fruitful dialogue with the European literature, the Albanian literature of this time does not detach from it’s national sole, achieving that, regardless of the acceptance of the new literary currents, however it saves it’s own characteristics, to preserve her physiognomy.
