Abstract

In this paper we will address of the usage of the internet on the Macedonian language and literature classes in elementary and high school. The usage of the new technologies is creates the opportunity to shape teaching units in a more contemporary and creative way. The application of ICT to literature encourages students' desire to read, but also helps in the understanding of the literary work, its attitudes and ideas, but it also helps in developing classroom discussion, interaction, and exchange of views among students, and also easier and more efficient learning of new content. Literacy units designed with the help of the internet tools stimulate students' motivation while the student is active during the lesson, researching, discovering and concluding what actually is the purpose of modern teaching.
