Abstract

This study will give effort to analyse the situation of the teaching situation of the German language in grade schools and high schools. There are very few documents wich handle teaching directly, as a second language in schools. The education system in North Macedonia is more focused on subjects like English, Math and the Macedonian language as a main educational language. During the last decade there have been made some broad reforms to improve the quality in the general system of Kindergartens, grade schools, middle schools and high schools, and colleges in North Macedonia. Teaching two foreign languages in grade schools and high schools, in which the German language is establishing itself more and more as the most proffered language, has had a positive influence in the teaching-learning process of the French and the German language. During the last years the there have been some renewals of curriculums and educational programs
