Abstract

At the end of the X-th century, ers are often used unethically. This unethical use of the ers arises because of the need to break up consonantal groups difficult to pronounce, both in taking on foreign words and in their Slovenianisation, as well as in Slavic words. In these cases in the pronunciation of these reduced vocals we have a dark vocal sound as a substitute for both era. In our paper we have explicated the examples in which we follow a secondary er in Zgost’s apostle, or his reflection in full vocals. Such contrasting studies are extremely important because of the insufficient study of historical themes in fourteenth-century manuscripts.
