Abstract
This article focuses on the cultural specificity of translation currently in North Macedonia, particularly translations from the Macedonian language to the Albanian language. The aim is to demonstrate the cultural specificity and challenges of translation in present-day North Macedonia through the presentation of exemplary official administrative documents in written form and simultaneous translations. The written texts in Macedonian are authored by state institutions that are legally obligated, according to the latest language law of North Macedonia, to ensure bilingualism and translation into Albanian, selected randomly. The video featuring the Prime Minister provides the best demonstration of where the translation difficulties can be found.
