Abstract

Fatos Kongoli is one of the most famous writers of the contemporary period of Albanian literature. One of the most famous writers outside the borders and spaces of Albania, this land to which all the literary works of Albanian authors (and not only) are dedicated. Known for his unique form of literary narrative; for the elaboration and presentation of various literary themes; for the inclusion of various and foreign elements in the narrative; for the alienation and carving of the "sick character" and "lost" in a narrow and dark Albanian environment; for the description of the dark, cold, wild, violent, chaotic, frightening and forgotten Albanian environment, as well as for many of his own elements and peculiarities, this writer managed to create his own literature and with it represent Albanian literature, national literature within the framework of so-called foreign literature (through literary translation). His prose works are quite well-known and filled with beautiful contemporary elements, which are presented through the narration and actions of the characters. Therefore, in this literary study, using the method of deduction, as well as the method of literary analysis, some of the characters of his various works will be presented, putting themselves in the role of narrator and in the role of bearer of the action.
