Abstract

Based on the data and research in the field of translation in general, in the available materials, mainly in Albanian and Macedonian language, but also in other languages, in this paper I have tried to address the importance and problems of translation, especially on the translation of professional terminology in textbooks. Translation problems have been discussed in many meetings and discussions, seminars and conferences, and many papers have been published in various scientific journals, but the positive effect is still not noticed. Because textbook translations are still full of omissions, in this paper we will focus on the issues of lexical and terminology in particular, not leaving aside other omissions (especially of untranslated parts or examples). This paper, however it is not comprehensive regarding the treatment about the problems of this theme or translation in general, but I hope that this approach serves as a reference for all those who are interested engage in the textbook translation process.
